A lot of projects have been announced, but contracts and approvals are still being waited on. - Under a new agreement, Salsnes Filter AS of Namsos, Norway will join the Trojan Technologies group of businesses. The agreement is subject to regulatory approval.
- British Water, which represents the UK water industry supply chain, and MATIMOP, the Israeli Industry Centre for Research & Development, signed an agreement that included desalination, water reuse and use of renewable energy in desalination and water reclamation. The memorandum of understanding should facilitate greater joint projects to develop new product applications and processes to be commercialised in the global market.
- Aqua America, Inc. announced that it completed the sale of its Maine operations to Connecticut Water Service, Inc., which includes 11 water systems serving 16,000 customers in 17 communities throughout Maine. Connecticut Water purchased all of the capital stock of Aqua Maine, Inc. for
