- Filterboxx Water & Environmental has acquired Scotland’s H2Oil & Gas, a specialist water treatment and services supplier to the oil and gas industry, in a move representing a broadening of the company’s offering and markets.
- Master Meter and Landis+Gyr have announced a technology partnership designed to provide dynamic water measurement solutions to utilities through the Gridstream™ advanced metering network. Master Meter is implementing Gridstream communication technology within its standard Dialog® 3G water meter register to provide multi-service and water utilities with reliable mesh network advanced metering service.
- ACWA Power International, a Saudi Arabian desalination firm, has purchased a 65% share in Enara Energy Investments, which in turns owns 51% of Jordan power generation company CEGCO (Central Electricity Generating Co), giving the desalination firm a controlling stake in the electricity producer.
